About Us

Jewells Medical Centre was established in 1982 by Dr Chris Hindley in the Jewellstown shopping plaza, with the aims of providing caring, friendly and professional medical care to the community of Jewells, Belmont and the surrounding suburbs. Over the years since, Jewells Medical Centre has grown to continue to meet the needs of the community, whilst maintaining these same values. We seek to care for and promote the health of every individual and family we see, and strive to provide the highest standards of General Practice expertise across the ages and stages of life.

Jewells Medical Centre is conveniently located between the hubs of Belmont, Charlestown and Warners Bay. We are close to specialist medical, imaging and hospital services at Belmont and Gateshead, and only a short distance from Redhead Beach.

Entrance to our dedicated carpark is via the shopping plaza entry at the roundabout on Ntaba Road. After turning into the carpark entrance, turn to the right, continue around past the shopping plaza entrance, and directly down the hill where you will find our building. A detailed map may be found through our Contact Us page.

We are located in a purpose built medical centre with 8 doctor consulting rooms, treatment and emergency rooms, skilled nursing staff and a caring and professional welcoming and administration team. We have a dedicated Allied Health Building currently providing rooms for pathology collection, psychology, podiatry and audiology services.

We value your feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality of the care we provide. Please call, contact us or make use of the suggestion box at our counter if you would like to provide feedback.
